šš¦ 2nd Grade Adventures at Rock Eagle! š¢šæ
Our 2nd graders had an exciting, hands-on adventure at Rock Eagle that brought science to life in the best way!
Students students rolled up their sleeves (and got their feet wet!) as they used dip nets to collect and identify creatures living in Rock Eagle Lake during Lake Ecology. The fun didnāt stop there! In Herpetology, students got up close and personal with reptiles and amphibiansāincluding snakes, frogs, turtles, and even a baby alligator! šš¢ Their faces lit up with excitement as they learned all about these fascinating creatures and what makes them unique.
It was a day full of discovery, adventure, and memories that will last a lifetime! Thank you Rock Eagle for having MCPS 2nd graders.
